The Ceremony
Welcome to our wedding website! We’re thrilled to share our journey with you.
It all began in 2018 when we first crossed paths at work in Seattle. Fast forward to August 2021, and we embarked on a new adventure, moving to Scranton, PA for school.
Amidst the late nights of studying, we decided to add some joy to our lives and welcomed our pup, Kelly, into our family in October 2021.
During an unforgettable trip to Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Kevin surprised Calina with a romantic proposal surrounded by loved ones in August 2023.
Our story continued to unfold as we embraced yet another change, relocating to Jersey City in June 2024. And now, with hearts full of love and excitement, we’re looking forward to saying «I do» in beautiful Spain on May 11, 2025.
We can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you all!
The wedding will take place the 11th of May 2025 in Castell de Tamarit at 4pm.

The best way to move around Barcelona is by subway.
There is no Uber – Cabify or Taxi would be the alternative.
Renfe is the main train line when you travel to Tarragona. The closest train station to Castell de Tamarit is called Blauet or Altafulla.
From the airport to Barcelona:
Taxi or Cabify.
Bus 5,90€ (one way) or 10,20€ (both ways) and takes 35 min. Leaves every 5-10 minutes and stops in Plaza Cataluña and Plaza España
Subway 5,90€ (one way).
From the airport to Tarragona:
Arrive to Barcelona Sants train station and get the train to Tarragona.
Meal times:
Lunch is between 13:00-15:00 and dinner between 20:00-22:00
However, as Barcelona and Tarragona are touristic cities, many places will serve food at any other times but it’s good to consider this in mind as many others will be closed at any other times.
Best offers: search for Menú del día (menu of the day) in many restaurants – normally you will have a two-course meal, with a drink and coffee/dessert with prices varying between 15€ – 25€ in total per person.
Must try meals:
Paella, Pulpo a la Gallega (Octopus), Patatas Bravas, Vermuth around 12:00-13:00 before lunch in a terraza, Tortilla de Patatas (Potato Omelette), all types of seafood, Tinto de Verano (cold red wine), Gazpacho (tomato soup)
Siesta time:
Many shops will close around 16:00 and will open again around 18:00 (final closing times between 21:00-22:00)
Tipping is not expected but appreciated if you considered the service exceptional
Slow-tourism: enjoy terrazas and sun! Make time for sobremesa – lingering long after a meal for a post-dining conversation. This is a hallmark of sociable Spanish culture, to extend conversations well beyond mealtimes to be able to enjoy each other’s company for as long as possible, usually over drinks.
Keep an eye on your belongings: Be vigilant of professional pickpockets specially in the subway in Barcelona. In Tarragona this is rarely common.
Dress appropriately when away from the beach: It is ilegal to walk topless or in a bikini outside the sand in Spain and police will approach
Formal
Pick up at 16:15 from Hotel Altafulla Mar
2 returns:
First return back to Hotel Altafulla Mar at 22:00
Second return at 01:00
There will be also parking available in the venue for guests who bring their own car.
